We would like to remind you of a few things. Passports: if you are travelling from anywhere outside of Canada, you = must show your passport at customs or at the border. Please remember to = bring it with you. Registration: please register in advance of the conference online at = http://msa.press.jhu.edu/conferences/msa11/ We do not have the capacity on site to process payments for registration = either by credit card or by cash. Only if absolutely necessary, we will = accept payment by personal cheque, written in US dollars. AV: for those conference attendees who asked for av, you received it = unless you were instructed otherwise. (We tried to accommodate as many = people as possible provided that you made your request by the 31 July = deadline.) We cannot take any last-minute requests for av. For those who = have rooms with av, there will be a projector and screen. You must bring = your own laptop. Technicians are available to solve problems. Business Lunch: the business lunch has reached capacity. The size of the = room permits only so many people. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate = further requests for lunch. Hotel: if you are staying at the conference hotel, the Delta = Centre-Ville, please bear in mind that there are two Delta Hotels in = downtown Montreal. (The other is called the Delta Montreal on rue = President Kennedy.) Please direct taxi drivers to the Delta Centre-Ville = at 777 rue University, tel: 514.879.1370. Transportation: taxis are readily available at the airport. There is = fixed rate from the airport to downtown (approximately $40). There are = also shuttle buses that stop at various hotels. If you want to take = public transit, ask for details at the information desk at the airport. = The Delta Centre-Ville is close to both the Bonaventure and Square = Victoria metro stops. Currency: you can obtain Canadian currency at ATM's at the airport or = anywhere in Montreal.
