We seek papers that use digital approaches to explore and illuminate the conference theme of "streets."

Modernist studies has developed a number of digital methods for reading metropolitan spaces and texts in new ways and at unprecedented scale. The MSA conference has showcased some of this work in its digital exhibits and poster session but, thus far, full presentations about the methods and findings of digital approaches have been few and scattered. This proposed panel will feature digital methods and results that illuminate long-standing questions about modernism’s streets in new ways.

Please send 250-word abstracts and a brief bio to Elizabeth Evans at e.f.evans at wayne.edu<mailto:e.f.evans at wayne.edu> and Gabriel Hankins at ghankin at clemson.edu<mailto:ghankin at clemson.edu> by March 11, 2020.

Conference Location: Brooklyn, NY, USA
Conference Dates: October 22-25, 2020
