Ravit Reichman is Associate Professor of English at Brown University. She
is the author of *The Affective Life of Law: Legal Modernism and the
Literary Imagination* (2009), and has been a Fulbright Scholar and a fellow
at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Her current book project, *Lost
Properties of the Twentieth Century*, examines the cultural, literary, and
legal life of ownership in the context of historical crisis.

There is free parking near the HHC at the Broadway Garage, on Felton
between Broadway and Cambridge Street. Just tell the attendant that you're
participating in an event at the HHC. Normally the attendant is welcoming,
as long as it's after 5:00 p.m., even if we are erroneously not on the good

We hope you'll be able to attend the session, which, as always, includes
discussion after the presentation.
