Dear
colleagues,Within
the context of the 8th International Critical Theory Conference of
Rome, 7-9 May 2015, to be held at Loyola University, Rome Campus (http://luc.edu/rome/callforpapers/), I would like to organize a panel on “T. S. Eliot and
critical theory.” Contributions are invited which explore divergences and
confluences, traditional disconnects and unforeseen contact zones, distant echoes and new vicinities,
insurmountable differences and graceful or outrageous intimacies between Eliot
and any aspect or development of
critical theory. The panel is very inclusive. It is open to a wide range of
diverse perspectives, including alternative perspectives, and to scholars,
researchers, writers and artists of any
critical orientation and conviction, from all disciplines and critical
practices.Please
send 200 word abstracts, along with a brief biography by February 8 to mmitrano at luc.edu or mena.mitrano at tin.itThank you!
