Project Manager, Digital Humanities
Modernist Networks (ModNets), a federation of digital projects in the field of modernist literary and cultural studies, seeks a part-time project manager (10-12 hrs/week) beginning January 2015. ModNets is a node in the Advanced Research Consortium (ARC), a group that includes NINES, 18th Connect, and MESA (Medieval Electronic Scholarly Alliance).The project manager's primary responsibility will be to facilitate the ingestion of modernist digital projects into the ModNets searchable database. Applicants should have experience with digital humanities projects and, in particular, with XML, XSLT, and, ideally, RDF.
In addition to the technical work, the project manager will shepherd projects through peer review by the ModNets board; conduct virtual and physical outreach and publicity; and communicate with software developers about bug fixes or specific software needs.

Qualifications

Minimum: BA or BS degree and experience with XML and XSLT
  *   Preferred: MA degree and experience with RDF
