[Msa-discuss] MSA elections: Voting open now

Dear MSA members:

Voting is now open for the 2011 MSA elections. To vote, please use the link on the MSA home page, or click on http://msa.press.jhu.edu/cgi-bin/2011_msa_vote.cgi . Voting will be open until 11:59 PM on April 7, 2011. [Please note that the e-mail that was sent out from JHUP indicated the wrong date for the close of the election period.]

We are electing officers for three positions:

1. 2nd VICE PRESIDENT (the 2nd Vice President assumes office on the final day of MSA 13 in 2011, then proceeds to the position of 1st Vice-President on the final day of MSA 14 in 2012, and then to that of President on the final day of MSA 15 in 2013).

2. CHAIR, PROGRAMS (3-year term commencing on the final day of MSA 13 in 2011).

3. CHAIR, NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS (3-year term commencing on the final day of MSA 13 in 2011).

Members are also asked to vote on an amendment to the MSA constitution passed by the board at the Victoria meeting.
