Fellow MSA'ers! Registration for MSA12 in beautiful Victoria BC is now open. You can go directly to the registration page by clicking here<http://msa.press.jhu.edu/conferences/msa12/registration.html>. You'll need your membership number (you can request a reminder if you've lost it) and a credit card to process the registration.
Please do sign up as well for the business lunch, at which the future of the MSA is discussed and where the prizes are handed out.
Please note as well that you have an option to request a paper program or simply to use the electronic version. We strongly encourage you to go electronic. The web site will be highly dynamic and the most up to date source, and there's FREE WI-FI in the conference centre and hotel, so you can access it anytime. There will also be digital signs showing the next session's panels and their locations readily visible throughout the conference centre. We will also be preparing a .pdf version of the program which you can download to your laptop or mobile device for use on site if you do not wish to use the online version of the program.
Travel options are detailed elaborately here<http://msa.press.jhu.edu/conferences/msa12/victoria.html>. Please note that it's not as expensive or as troublesome as you might think to get here, and the flight in can be really spectacular.
Finally, the registration page is also where you make your choices of seminars in which you'd like to register. Please review the options here<http://msa.press.jhu.edu/conferences/msa12/victoria.html>, and be prepared to name up to three choices in order of preference when you register.
As always, please direct questions to msa12 at uvic.ca<mailto:msa12 at uvic.ca>, and I look forward to greeting you in November.
For the Organizers,
Associate Professor of English and
Cultural, Social, and Political Thought,
University of Victoria.
